The ACG was delighted to bring the 2011 International Seminar on Paste and Thickened Tailings back to Perth, Western Australia.

Paste 2011 explored the latest advances in the preparation, transportation and deposition of paste and thickened tailings (P&TT) that will be reinforced by current case studies. This seminar also addressed the important part that P&TT plays in incremental rehabilitation and its impact on mine closure goals.

15th International Seminar on Paste and Thickened Tailings

ACG Total Tailings Management Seminar

7-8 December 2011  |  Novotel Langley Hotel  |  Perth, Australia

This two-day seminar will address the issues facing site personnel involved with the day-to-day management of tailings storage facilities and the obligation to comply with the relevant operating standards and closure requirements. Special emphasis has been placed on the discussion of decommissioning issues and problems of water management on waste storage sites that are of increasing importance to mine site personnel.
