Cars are right hand drive and the rule of the road is to keep to the left. We recommend Budget, a car hire company that offers great service and competitive rates. Others to choose from include Europcar, Avis and Hertz. Alternatively, there is a train service that will take you to Fremantle from the Perth train station located on Wellington Street, Perth. Public TransportTransperth manages Perth's public transport system which is fully integrated across all bus, train and ferry services. Perth and Fremantle also offer a free local bus service called CATs (Central Area Transit). This is a free, high frequency service that operates around the CBD and tourist precinct.
